Civil szervezeti kezdeményezésben létesültek az első új játékok a reformárus templom alatti parki részen. A játszóteret aztán az önkormányzat több ütemben fejlesztette. Elsőként 2009-ben csúszdákkal, hintával, favárral, rugós játékokkal, drótkötélpályával és homokozóval. Majd 2011-ben nem csak új játékokkal, de új területtel is bővült a játszótér. A Zala-patak másik oldalán Szlovén-Magyar INTERREG pályázati forrásból valósult meg az Eörségh természetközeli szabadidőpark c. projekt, amelynek keretében madármegfigyelő torony, az élővilágot bemutató színes információs táblák, madáretetők és madárodúk, sakkjáték, lengőteke és lengőhinta, függeszkedő játék, stb. került kialakításra, valamint pihenőpadok és asztalok is létesültek.
The first new playground equipment and toys were installed as a result of a civil organisational initiative in the park just below the Calvinist church. Thereafter the playground was developed further by the local municipality in several stages. The fírst stage in 2009 saw the installation and building of some slides, a wooden castle, a swing, spring riders, a cable car and a sand-pit. ln 2011 the playground was expanded not only with new toys but also with a new area. Theproject Eörségh Leisure Park was implemented on the other side of the stream Zala in a natural environment using Slovenian and Hungarian funding obtained through the INTERREG competition; this project also included the building of a birdwatching tower, the placement of coloured information boards illustrating the biology of the area, bird feeders and artificial bird cavities, a big chess board, swings ball skittles, a swing, climbing frames, etc., and also some benches and tables were placed in the park.
